Trick or Treat

Halloween isn't until tomorrow, but we had trick or treat last night. They do it up BIG here...it's more of a party for the grownups than for the kids. So, it's best to have trick or treat on the Saturday night closest to Halloween. I picture parents waking up hung over while their kids are polishing off the last bag of M&Ms. I'm proud to say we didn't do either, but I do remember something about a jell-o shot, some really good guacamole, a lady mowing her lawn at 7:30 pm, and an apparent arrest of T-Rex and Scooby Doo.

Took a road trip to Chicago today to show Kanani her place of origin. We left having only spent $40 for a new outfit and glasses for Kanani and $24 on lipgloss for mom at Bloomingdales. Oops, delete......
