A few of my favorite things
There's nothing better than a warm evening, a popsicle, hydrangeas, and hangin' out with your dad....(except for maybe a Subway sandwich, a Motel 8, the Red Sox, and a Little Debbie!)

Water Logged
Today the heat continued, so we spent most of the day outside playing in the water table. Fortunately, our good friend and neighbor, Sidney, is a good sport and doesn't mind when Addie splashes her. The heat takes its toll and wears out Addie pretty well, but it also creates an appetite. She took a long nap today and then ate a WHOLE cheese pizza tonight, followed by her own ice cream, some grapes and then a graham cracker. I do NOT look forward to tomorrow's diaper.

Dog Walker
Tonight Addie decided she would walk Mac, and while it's a great idea in theory, it didn't last long. There was some confusion as to who was really walking who. Dad took over, and if you're wondering what is sticking out of his pants, well, let's just say, it's a poor man's pooper scooper; although, I like to think of it as recycling.

Simple Pleasures
Addie spent a solid hour splashing herself and playing with her new water table over the weekend. The best part was that each time the cold water hit her, she reacted with the same amount of surprise and pleasure as she did the very first time she did it. Ah the simple pleasures in life..........

Thanks Auntie Suzi
Even though Addie won't be 2 for 2 more months, she still was able to talk her auntie into giving her her gift early. She is very grateful! Unfortunately, we've learned that she needs to wear a swim suit when she's playing in it because more water ends up on her and the ground than in the actual table itself. Hours of summer time fun will be had! A very special thank you to the Taylors of Oconomowoc!
