Wednesdays

Wednesdays are early start and early release days at school. Today we decided to kick off our day with a little jaunt over to Panera for an asiago cheese bagel (with butter) and an extra large coffee for mom, which made for two happy girls.

Today I had the privilege of spending two whole (uninterrupted) hours with this sweet little nugget!! I loved every moment; I hope the feeling is mutual. Same time, same place next week, SJH??

It was a double date at the Brewers game yesterday. There were lots of smiles, cheering, food, sun, and sweating! Oh, and the Brewers won!

Addie has just about mastered the art of pumping. No more shouting "PUSH ME!". Well, maybe just one more.

(almost) baby sister

On a near daily basis, we travel 13.5 blocks to snuggle with our (almost) baby sister, Sara Jane. She is sweet, cuddly, and Addie just adores her (it's written all over her face in the last photo). Sara Jane is the youngest of five, but for a few brief moments in the afternoon, she lets Addie be her only big sister.

Birthday Extravaganza

I turned 30 on Friday (no I didn't)!
It was your typical birthday; the kind where your brother and his girlfriend fly in from Maine for dinner at the Capital Grille and drinks at Blu (oh, and did I mention it was a TOTAL surprise)!?!?!? And no dinner is complete without a huge vase of your favorite flowers being delivered to the table!!!!

As if that wasn't enough, we went zip-lining on Saturday (actually it ended up being Sunday because we got rained out, but we sure had fun driving all the way to Lake Geneva and pretending to zip-line with Molly).

An extra-special, fun filled weekend indeed, and of course, we cannot forget the DQ ice cream cake decorated with martinis (they were virgin type and the cake was fat free).

A BIG thank you to my husband who pulled all this together!! Is he the best or what?!?

First day of school was on Tuesday (guess I've been too busy in my new found free time to post this in a timely manner???)

School is one block away
We walk both ways
In the winter, we'll drive both ways
She has to wear a uniform this year and she'll be going 5 days a week instead of just 3 days
