Now that the weather is shaping up, it's hard to drag Addie indoors. She is a running, sticking gathering fool. I fear this scrape on her nose is only the first of many to come this spring and summer.

What do you do when you get new rain boots from LL Bean? Well, you run over to show your neighbor, of course. He was shocked to see that they were bright pink!

Scott has officially been gone for 48 hours; I'm nearing the end of my rope.

This past weekend marked my 5th consecutive trip to Jacksonville for the Gate River Run! Really, it's a good excuse for a trip south to visit my closest friend. It was a perfect trip all the way around: on time flights, great weather, and a great run with a great friend! Is it March 2011 yet?

Addie proudly wore my Nike hat and the medal from this weekend's race; she ran around the house saying, "I run like mommy does." My response was, "Mommy wants to NAP like Addie does."

Wet and Wild

We just took a trip to the Dells, the Wilderness to be exact, or as Addie likes to call it, heaven on Earth. It was a great time filled with, water, excitement, and a lack of sleep. We were lucky enough to spend our trip with Suzi, John, and our cousins. Thanks for putting up with us, guys!

I love baking; Addie loves to help; however, her motivations are not quite clear....well, maybe they are clear (see the last photo).
One of my favorite treats to make is Mimi's pumpkin bread with chocolate chips. This recipe is well worn but it definitely hasn't lost its flavor!
