I had my last long run yesterday (14 miles) and I am now 14 days out from the marathon. I'm hoping for a tail wind that day!

Dancing Queen
This past weekend we headed down to the Kite Festival at the lakefront; there were kites, bubbles, music, and great people watching. Addison decided this would be the perfect venue to debut her dance interpretation skills. I wish I had video taped this because it was hilarious. She had the drama down, complete with the eye movements to match. As you can see, her dance ended with a dramatic fall to the ground: Juilliard here we come!

Good times
What a fun way to celebrate my birthday weekend.......beautiful weather, a 1/2 marathon, dinners out on the town (one just the girls and one with my wonderful husband), and of course no weekend would be complete without some shopping at Sephora and a trip to Alterra at the Lake. Thanks for trekking up to the cold north, Ilinke (notice the shivering in our pre-race photo).
A special thanks to Scott who put up with us all weekend; we can be very annoying :-)
