Today we went to the Green Meadows Petting Farm; it was a picture perfect day, and we managed to refrain from barfing and pooping on the baby animals. I am happy to see that we're raising a germaphobe; although, you'd think this would have kept her from catching the stomach flu. 

In a New Light

As part of our new basement, we've got new can lights; so I took some photos with and without the flash last night in our new lighting.  I still think "with flash" looks better than without. Perhaps I should read the camera's manual so that I know what I'm doing, even if it's just a little.  Can you tell which photos have the flash and which don't? It seems obvious to me.

Sistine Chapel's Rough Draft

Well, we're redoing the basement; the demo started today, and low and behold, we've discovered a masterpiece under the wood paneling. To think we've been living above this landscape for years. We've scheduled an appraiser from the Antiques Roadshow to come and give us the good news.

Back to Work

Well, vacation is over for me, and it's back to work. For Addie, being back at work means something totally different; it's just another day at the playground.
